Opinion of tourist who are in favour the bridge:
We are in favour of this new connection Huelva-Punta because we will be nearer (or closer) to Huelva.
This closeness has many advantages:
1. We will have a faster connection with shops, shopping centres, culture and official services in the capital of the province.
2. We will have the opportunity to enjoy a fantastic walk on foot or by bike over one of the most beautiful and interesting natural areas of the zone.
3. The traffic jams over the two old bridges in Corrales will end, because with the new bridge the traffic will be divided among three bridges.
4. We will also have a better and faster connection with Sevilla, Portugal and La Sierra. And this is fantastic.
For all these reasons we defend the new connection and we think that it is something very positive.

I am very sartisfied with the results. You all did a very good job. Some teachers and also Carlos (the A21 agent)remarked the good role you were doing and specially your good use of English. Congratulations!!!

You should try to be more objective judging yourself. Forget about the fact that the translator in the debate was you. Just try. And then look at the traslator from the outside. If you are able to do look at things form such a difficult (although not impossible) point of view, you will realize that the traslator did anything but bad.
The traslator transmited the ideas of the turists in a clear and literal way. We all understood what they said thanks to her. Where is the problem then? I really cannot find it anywhere.
Of course the traslator is a secondary role. The real protagonist were the tourists. But without the traslator nobody would have been able to know what the protagonists were saying. In this way the role of the translator is essencial.
Thank you for your work. It was very well done. It is also good that you think that you could do it even better. I agree with that, of course, don't forget it was the first time and also a difficult taks (translators have an average of five years training).
