Ok, I must accept that it is a bit confusing.
You are supply translator(suplente) . You will not be in Teatro del Mar unless Manuel Ortiz has any kind of problem. But in Cumbres you will be traslator, you will practice that role.
In the group of tourists there will always be two speakers or reporters: one in English and his translator.
Please don't hesitate to ask again if there is something unclear.
