I hope this picture reflects the icelanding atmosphere.

Yes, it is really cold here, but there is a special beauty in this country. A very different beauty to the one we experience everyday in Punta.

It is cold, yes, but you feel that you are in "the end of the world" and that is really special too. And if it is too cold you can always go to the hot tubs. They are small swiming pools with very hot geyser water. These hot pots are in the open air, and yes, you are there, with your swimming costume under the snow and inside the hot tub. It is SUPER!!!

I also think of you very much. The course is about teaching, you know. We have a really good teacher. She is called Gudrún and we are learning very much from her. So get ready for new, exciting and very interesting learning activities.

I am also learning from the other participants in the course. They are teachers from many different countries, and yes, we all communicate in English. In the hot tubs we were talking with a group of small children (nine year olds) and they all spoke English very fluently. I was astonished: How do teachers teach English in this country? How do they get these young children to commuinicate so well in English? I'll try to learn and we will practice in class. OK?
